RootsTech Schedules Are Posted - Come Join The Fun!

What will you be doing 17 days from now? Unless you will be in attendance at the RootsTech 2012 Family History and Technology Conference you will probably be pretty jealous of everyone that is!

Last February was the first annual RootsTech Conference held in Salt Lake City, Utah and sponsored by FamilySearch. Of all the conferences, I've ever attended this was by far the best and most exciting. This year will be no exception. There will be plenty of classes available for genealogists, both beginning and experienced; as well as, workshops for developers. The Session Schedule has been posted to the RootsTech site so you can plan ahead. Don't waste your time during the Keynote addresses each day trying to decide what workshops to attend - plan that out right now for the best experience.

Here is a sampling of classes and workshops available for beginning users and genealogists:
      *  Learn about the various online paid databases and decide To Pay or Not to Pay.
      *  Unscramble those messy relationship problems on new FamilySearch.
      *  Too many internet sites? Want to know which are the best and most popular
      *  Learn to effectively use those paid websites (free at FH Centers and Libraries).

For those who have acquired the basics and want to learn more you will find additional classes and workshops, such as:
      *  Understanding just what "the Cloud" is and how it works.
      *  Using Google Earth to tell your family's story.
      *  Understanding and effectively using DNA in your research.
      *  Building and maintaining Blogs and Websites.
      *  Publishing your history as an E-book, online or printed.

Those are just a few of the many presentations and workshops available for users. To see the complete list for users, click here for the User Schedule.

If you are a developer see the complete Developer Schedule.

The Week-At-A Glance will help guide you through the all the activities planned for this terrific RootsTech Conference!  There is still time to register and join us!
